Counselling for Workplace Conflict

Confidential online counselling for conflict at work, difficult managers and team tension. Build clarity, scripts and confidence to handle it.

Conflict at work occupies far more mental space than the hours it actually takes up. It follows you home, into weekends and into sleep.

Signs you might recognise

You do not need to identify with all of these. Even a few is reason enough to talk to someone.

Rehearsing confrontations in the shower
Avoiding a specific person or meeting
Feeling undermined, excluded or talked over
Credit for your work going elsewhere
Anxiety before one-to-ones
Documenting everything defensively
Reputation anxiety after a disagreement
Physical tension before entering the office or a call

Why this happens

Workplace conflict is unusually stressful because you cannot exit the relationship, the power distribution is uneven, and the cost of getting it wrong is material. Steep hierarchies — common in Indian organisations — often make direct disagreement feel professionally risky, so friction goes underground and surfaces as passive resistance, gossip or avoidance. That indirect form is harder to resolve and tends to persist longer.

How therapy helps

What the work actually involves, session by session.

1

Getting an accurate read

Separating the interpersonal dynamic from your interpretation of it is the essential first step and frequently the most surprising.

2

Choosing your battles

Not every conflict warrants engagement. We assess cost, likelihood of change and what you actually want from the outcome.

3

Rehearsing the conversation

Role-playing the difficult exchange in session makes the real one substantially easier.

4

Containing the spillover

Practical strategies so conflict stops occupying your evenings, weekends and sleep.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as mediation?
No. This is confidential individual counselling to support you. Mediation involves all parties and is usually run through HR or an external mediator.
What if it's genuine harassment?
Your therapist will support you and help you think clearly about options, including formal channels. Therapy is not a substitute for HR or legal processes, and you will be told so plainly.
Can this help if I'm the manager?
Yes — managing conflict within a team, giving hard feedback and handling underperformance are frequent reasons managers seek counselling.
How many sessions would I need?
Situation-focused work like this is often short — commonly four to eight sessions.
